Black and White Word Representation

The placard on the right shows a piece by Piet Mondrian called Farm Near Duivendrecht. It demonstrates many fluid movements through the reflection in water and the trees branch's interactions.

​The piece to the left uses parts of circles to illustrate the word fluid. It is inspired from oil rising in water. It shows how the shapes continuously move and interact.

House Design

Site Plan

The site that this house is built on is in Mount Vernon, Kentucky. The goals of this design is to represent the word fluid, utilize natural light, and emphasize the views to the south.

Floor Plan

The floor plan strives to show fluid through the movement around the house. It also has many large windows to allow views to the mountains and an abundance of natural light.

Model

Elevations

In the elevations you can see the large corner windows allow many views and natural light to enter. The deck that connects the second floor and patio embolizes fluid by allowing movement between spaces.

This is a model representation. It helps depict where on the site the house lies and how the elevation effects construction.
