Rule 1: The building is elevated by columns with enough space in between each column for cars to be able to navigate through; most commonly used like a garage for the cars.

Rule 2: This rule states that because the second floor or roof is held up and supported by columns, that the wall configuration on the inside can be whatever you want because they don't need to add to the structural support.

Rule 3: This states that the facade should be designed freely of the exterior of the building from it's structural function.This sets it free of structural constraints

Rule 4: This Rule states that horizontal windows cut the facade along its entire length and also light up rooms with equal amounts of sunlight

Rule 5: This rule covers the idea of raising the surrounding environment to create a rooftop garden consisting of the same plant life. It is considered a well known sustainability strategy.
