IN THE BEGINNING OF THIS PROJECT I HAD THE IDEA OF USING TWO SMALL SHIPPING CONTAINERS TO MAKE A FLEXIBLE SHELTER, BUT BECAUSE OF SPACE ISSUES I DESIGNED THIS. THE FINAL HOUSE ARE TWO 40 FOOT SHIPPING CONTAINERS PUT TOGETHER. I ADDED PODS THAT EXPAND OUT OF THE SIDE TO ALLOW FOR MORE SPACE. ALSO OM THE MIDDLE PODS I ADDED GARAGE TYPE DOORS THAT CAN OPEN AND ALLOW AIR TO FLOW THROUGH THE HOUSE AND COOL IT NATURALLY, LIKE A DOG RUN HOUSE. ALSO I HAVE A OVERHANGING RAIN COLLECTOR THAT ALSO DOUBLES AS A PORCH. THE OVERHANG IS MADE OUT OF MATERIAL FROM THE INSIDE OF THE ORIGINAL CONTAINER. THERE ARE ALSO SOLAR PANELS ON THE ROOF, AND SMALL WINDOWS ON THE EAST AND WEST TO MAKE THE HOUSE MORE ENERGY EFFICIENT.
