Project 01: LISDOLA design package 

For this year in our AD2 class, we were given the opportunity to re-design some projects for the LISD Outdoor Learning Area. i choose to do the trail kiosk. i choose this project because i wanted to do a kiosk where the kids could learn about the outdoor area while having fun.

Project:02 research project 

This is our second project of this semester. We were asked to design a scientist research center for a landscape that is under certain vigillance and that have been doing research for years. For the place in my reserch facility center i choose the santa maria volcano in guatemala, because it keeps erupting each year and it affects the people that live around there. 
this is part of my study models. the ideas that i had for the project was to have an open side of the window to have a view to the volcano on the first and second floor. the view section is on the top of the building, with an inclined rooftop and windows on the side of the building too. it has solar panels to it can create energy. Not only that but to collect water there will be a tube that can connect to a cleaning center to reuse the water to drink. 
These are some of the sketches that i drew to make the reserch project. i made them have 2 floors, that have rooms for the scientist, bathrooms, a kitchen, and a lounging area where they can rest. they are in different places around the house the science lab. the science lab would be in the 1st floor and the bedrooms and resting area are in the 2nd floor.                    
This is the final model of my project. i built it this way so i could be able to have the scientis be protected just in case the volcano erupts. it is placed on the side of the volcano where there is a small hill. it will be protected by flying rocks when the volcano erupts and the legs slide up and down if the volcano erups all of a sudden and it shakes the building. it can balance it out to be equal and balanced out. It also has solar panels to create energy and it wouldn't be dark.
