Adalberto Libera

Adalberto Libera was a Italian architect and made the famous casa malaparte house. born on July 16, 1903 and died on March 17, 1963. he was heavily influenced by fascism and the other members of the Italian Movement of Rational Architecture(M.I.A.R). His style was modern Italian and he often liked to incorporate columns into his building.   

Casa Malaparte

The casa malaparte is a red masonry house built on top of a cliff in Capri Italy. It was made in 1938 for a famous diplomat/writer named Cruzio Malaparte. The house was made for Cruzio when he was exiled from Italy for his book that speaks out against Nazis.

Zombie Apocalypse House 

​Project Summary

I originally wanted to have a very homey feel to my house to get the dwellers off the idea that they are in fact in a zombie apocalypse. I added many windows so that the dwellers inside wouldn't feel like they were trapped in a box. I also used this thinking when I added a balcony to the second floor so that they could get all their sunlight and fresh air in a safe environment.  The half circles you will notice on most of my work represent a open water silo for rain to be collected.
