This is my word project. I go the word complex so I instantly thought of math. I got to work quick and thought of intercepting lines. I repeated the pattern of the intercepting lines to show how the world is connected and how everything is similar of the same to an idea.

This is my the topography of my site. We based the map on my fingerprint. I saw these lines at the bottom of my finger and I decided to have tera-steps up to my building.

This is a picture of my first model of my building and the topography of my site. I liked how well I made the models. I also liked how the building fit with the topography. The side that you see is the west side AKA the sunset.

This is a view from the Northwest side and I first thought that the coldest parts of the day are the sunset and night so I faced the curved glass wall west. I learned that the coldest parts of the day are the sunrise and night. Since I faced the glass wall west and its in Arizona the building will heat up a great amount.

This is the elevations and floor plan of my version of my building. In his building I decided not to add a roof because I thought it looked better without a roof

This is my roof plan. I decided to have a roof for my building, it protrudes out 1 foot from the walls. I raised the living room to create separation from my room and utilities. I also decided to put my roof on the roof because it provides better cooling.

This is the floorplan of the second version of my building. I decided to put all the utilities on the back wall, my room to the left and a living room to the right. I also put bi-folding doors as my front door.

This is a different layout on the building. This layout is better than the other one because i took advantage of the sunrise more. I wanted the East side to be a roller door to take advantage of the sunset. I also found a way to make my room bigger and the utilities to be set up in a way to make more room because my max square footage is 400sq feet. I also put a pivot door to be able to let the wind to my house and so the I will be able to control where it goes and when it is closed stop the heat from coming in.

These are my elevation of my building. I did make a few changes because of the building line didn't allow me to add a patio. I am very proud of the outcome of adding a roof, I can see that it looks modern and matches with the environment.

This is my final floor plan and I'm happy with the design. With only having 400 sq. ft. max for my building I managed to fit everything in it with about 25 sq. ft. left over. Every utility has enough space and its not cramped, also my room has more than enough space. Although I am sad that I couldn't add a roller door I am still happy with the product. 

This is my final elevation for my building. Again I am happy with what I've created. The building looks way better then my first design and the raised living room makes the house look more like a canyon.
