Project 01: Fibonacci Cube

The Fibonacci Cube is based on a building of the mind and how it's design of our choice. Being creative is more likely in this project to what endless models you imagine and settle on one to create. In this project we drawn many planes models, cube models, took photos and drawn the Fibonacci spiral.

The Fibonacci spiral is what approximates the golden sequence in many bulidings.

Drawings and Model
This is the 3 plane model. In this photo the front, back, the sides are drawn in different sections in birds eye view.

The Fibonacci drawing is my final model on a angle. At first, I drew the 8x8 base to start off how or where I want to start to draw my model. Next, is the Final cube model of how my model looks physically with brasswood and cardboard pieces to finalize my 3d model.

Research drawing

This research drawing was based upon the environment of what's going on near the border. The sand and the weather of what's the times it had been. We drew the parts to finish the photo that presented. The picture also represents that dessert and how long the border was.

Floor Plan 1

These are the floor plans that we did on our first 3D modeled cube. The first plan was with the very first floor that the whole putting parts together. The small squares on each corner are the brass wood sticks to keep the building up. The second plan was with the second floor and how it was going to get planned out, it only contained 2 brass wood sticks.

Four Elevation drawings

These are my four elevations to my finalized model. The Left, Right, Front, and Back are shown. The line weights are also there to represent what's closer to you and what's farther away.​​ I added stairs to habit the second floor and to be easier to use the communicator.

Site Plan

The Site Plan is based on the building and the collision with the street. The Circles are trees and plants. The the rectangles on the front from one set of trees/plants are the water features such as a water fountain, or a little pool. I made walk ways from the site to the street for people to enter and exit the building.

Sketch-up Models

We use this software to show how our models would look like with a border.

Left side

This the left side of my tower. I use a ladder to climb to the entrance. My tower has a lot of inhabitable spaces to show lay, sit, and standing areas.

Right Side

This is the right side of my project. Finalized tower made out of wood. I like how my tower turned out when building, its looks more better than the first chipboard we used as a the starter.

Projection Drawing

This is my projection drawing for my fist original D model. The planning of how the model supposed to like when in a bird's eye view. Every section is a piece of the model from left to right and front to back. The heavy line weight on some shapes are the one's to be cut through.
