Word projectOur very first step to designing our house was our word project. We were each given a word that describes us. My word was labyrinthine, which means maze like or all over the place. I think it describes me pretty well based on my lifestyle. During this project we had to draw shapes in a for that represented our word, so I drew a bunch of shapes in no kind of order. While I was in the process of creating my project I had to make sure we rendered in our shapes very neatly and so that they all had the same value.

First Floor PlanThis is my tiny house first floor plan. There were many steps I took to get here, I had lots of drafts and had to fix my wall thickness and the dimensions of my rooms, to fit the standard house dimensions. I had to think about furniture layouts and they sizes of my furniture. I also realized I needed to be careful of where I out my furniture so tat theirs enough room to walk between them.
Second floor planThis is my little loft area in my house. it serves as a bedroom and work area. The balcony is the bottom half of the room. its quite small but its still usable.

North, South, East and West Elevations
Site planThis is my site plan for the area I'm building in, Austin Texas. I used this to be able to tell where the trees are and where wind patterns come from during certain times in the year.

Elevations were another step we took to prepare our projects, we had to sketch what out house looked like from each direction, North,South,East and West while I was preparing these I had to make sure I had a ground line that fit my site and how my house would look from each direction.

Roof planA roof plan tells us where you building is on your site and where your trees on your site are located around your building

While I was building my site model I had to make I got all the measurements right, or my model wouldn't have been accurate. I had to take in key information to tell where my contour lines were placed to know what areas if my house I had too make higher or lower or for example at the front of my house stilts that go over out to a lake. During this project I learned how to read a scale with different scale measurements like 1/8th or 1/4th.

this is my floor plan that I created in auto-cad. i used commands such as offset,x line, and units so i could get my drawing scaled and drawn properly. while i was creating this project i learn the process of struggling to do something right the first time. immense=ssed up several times
