Drawings and Model
These are the drawings and model of the city pavilion. On top, the grid analysis, parti, the west, east, north elevation (sadly couldn't do the south elevation or the roof), and the floor plan. they show how I laid out my walls and floor plan. Each wall was based off of what I see within the grid analysis and what I tried to emphasize in it. On the top right shows the axonometric that I've made with the two walls completed and placed together. To the bottom right is my complete model of the pavilion. Though it may be incomplete, it does show part of chaos and disorder that I've tried to emphasize from the grid analysis.

Project 2 Site AnalysisThis is my grid analysis for this project. I had to read and analyze the grid given to me and embed what I could see from the map. the blue and red arrows represent where the winds go in and out, the green arrow represents where the trees growth spread out in the area, the black to white arrows represent the paths where the sun and moon goes, and the white arrows show where you can see or watch the area which is in a way, a point of view.

First Concept DesignsThese were my first 3 concept designs I had for this project, the first one titled "The Viewer" is what I saw more of a vacation home. It lets the people who live inside the log cabin to view the scenery from an elevated surface. The second one called "The Lost Tree" is my idea of deforestation in forests around the world. Though it may be a literal log cabin, it represents the posing danger of losing more and more trees to human colonization whist still showing that it belongs in the forest. The last concept design I've made was titled "Seido" meaning system in Japanese. The reason why I named it after a Japanese word is because the idea itself represented a system of trees entangled with each other, making a system among the trees.

Main IdeaThis was my first main idea that I stuck with in my project, and though it may look like it wasn't based off of any of my concept ideas, it was actually a scrapped off idea of the "The Lost Tree" since it also represented a blend in nature. I decided to do a 180 and made it look like it shouldn't be there while looking like it was naturally formed. This idea was based off of a natural forming material called iron pyrite, specifically formed in the caves or mines in Spain.

First Floor Plan IdeaThis was my first floor plan I made by combining the placement of the bubble diagram and what floor plan I was envisioning inside my head. As I kept adding cubes to place while also remembering where to place my bubble diagram into the floor plan, it slowly but surely created a floor plan I was satisfied with. It shows how jagged it looks while still looking in order and mysterious.

Completed Floor PlanThis is my completed floor plan for my site. This log cabin is more for a large family due to me having many family members. Recreational room for what we do as a hobby, a living room for when we play games together, Master Bedroom and a Master Bathroom for my parents to sleep in
