Client Story

    Jenga Mwendo, resident of the lower ninth ward, is a single mother with two jobs and is also in charge of her Backyard Garden Network. Her organization attempts to help residents of the lower ninth create gardens to sustain their families and even their neighbors. She would need a safe home for her family in a central location to easily reach her neighbors in the rest of  the area. She will also need to be in a location that allows and easy commute for her jobs. She will need room for a garden on her land. She is very passionate about repairing the lower ninth ward and welcomes all the help that has come so far and that will go in the future.
