School Building
In practicum architecture we were put in groups and had to design a refugee camp.With in the refugee camp I chose to design the school.I wanted the school to have a welcoming feeling to it.
Preliminary Work
At first I had to start with ideas on how I wanted the school to look like from there I thought of ventilation because there are no air conditioning in a refugee camp.From there I put my ideas in to sketch up to see how the school will look.
Final work
For my final work I incorporated the ventilation idea with ventilation on the walls to add more air flow with in the building.I changed up the design layout a little to help with the welcoming feel.
Clinic Building
For our second project we had to rebuild our city of crisis for people who are coming back into the city from a refugee camp. From all the things I could have choice from i picked to design a clinic I wanted to continue the welcoming fell from my project one.
Preliminary Work
When I fist started to design my clinic I was in the mind set of United States type of clinics, but as I went on I started to think this is not for Americans should i changed my whole design ideas, and strated to explore over seas clinics.
Final Work
For my final work I took two of my design ideas and combined them to make a type of separated clinic where the people wait outside till the doctor calls you in, and if something bad has happened to you. You will go into the main building.
