Project 01: Fibonacci Cube

  We used the Fibonacci spiral to demonstrate how a sequence of numbers works, and we also used it to show depth in our drawings. The process was very specific and we had to use a protractor and a compass to make the Fibonacci Spiral.

Landscape: Prairie

What I learned about my Prairie is that it is can get cold sometimes and it is can get very hot. also that it may rain sometimes but not very often, but it also can be dry.

Drawings and Model:

This is my Plane Study Drawing, and it shows my full model on the right, and it also shows the elevations and floor plan on the left and the middle.

These are my two plane studies, and basically we had to come up with three models, but we had to choose the one that would fit the best in our landscape. The reason why I did not choose these two because they did not have much protection or shade from the weather and the animals.

Final Cube: Isometric In this drawing we had to draw our Final Cube into an Isometric drawing, shaped like a cube and drawn in a cube. We also had to choose which view and direction we wanted to show in our drawing, but we also has to draw the whole model to the same scale that it actually is and we had to color which model was the original one. In the process of building my model, I built it in a way that it would have protection from the sun and the cold and the animals, but also space for rooms and a patio on the roof.

Project 02: Sustainable Millennial House

Millennial's:

For this project we had to design and create our own house for Millennial's to live in and it had to fit Millennial's in some way, and how our house would be sustainable for the environment, and how it would also be creative and different than most houses that we live in now and how it would be better.

We also researched what Millennial's are, they are Fearless, Lazy, Respectful, Calm, ambitious, Social, tolerant and Well-educated.We also researched what they like to do and what they do not like to do, and how they act.

Drawings and Model:

For this project we had to come up with some ideas, so I kind of went with this idea but then I changed it a little bit by putting all the rooms on one side and everything else on the other side. I choose this idea because it looks nice and it also fits with my house design and how it looks.
