Binary Project
I chose the binary function regular irregular. A binary is the display of two opposite things. The point of this project was for us the students to learn more about how things are compared together and to give us a chance to show our understand of the binary functions.I started with making a study model and just throwing ideas on to that. Then i drew my concept model and went on to Final model and during that process of making my final model i went and made the sketch-up model you see below.
Preliminary Work
These are sketch up concepts of my Binary function Regular Irregular. They were meant to look different from the final model, they are also shown in different views, such as a regular view of the model to floor plan and section cut of the model so you could see all the concepts going into it.
Final Work
This is my Binary Function Project final model and concept drawing.
Mason's House Project
This project was assigned to us to show us how a real client would ask for certain aspects to be put in to there house, as well as how we would have to abide by certain rules set by the goverment on how high we can build and how much space we have to leave for public property on our land. This project taught me that there was a lot more to building a house than you think, during this project we also took price into account during the project. My client happened to be the mason who liked natural light and arcs as well as Masonry work like with bricks and stone.
Preliminary Work
This is my preliminary work, these were drawn to get ideas out and study the ideas using the models on how they could be more or even how they could be a house. I looked at a lot of buildings to get ideas for curved masonry and these were my practices on curved masonry and arcs. The study models helped me realize my final idea for the final project.
Final Work
This is my final project for the mason it allowed me to test my abilities and how i could design for someone else. These are my final models along with my revit model in its different views.
