Project 01: Aleppo Refugee Camp

In our analysis of Aleppo, we found strong elements of an overall radial design, while the individual districts were clustered together somewhat randomly. We also saw that green spaces were found throughout the city; there was a central line through the center of the city following the river, along with each neighborhood had a lot of communal green spaces. With all this in mind, we began designing our project.

In our final design, we didn't want there to be any clear separation of districts, and we designed it so that people could travel from "zone" to "zone".
