I started with looking at ways to create an outdoor space that molds with the design and shape of the building. As well I looked at ways to collect rain water and solar energy. Those resources will be needed to sustain the complex.
I decided to dive deeper into this design because it proved to be the most malleable. I found that the three different buildings could be moved around to create different spaces with the outdoor space. I moved away from that though, and looked at my site as a whole. I tried to shape my buildings to the site.
I have been trying to get down to the smaller details in each building. I wanted to create three spaces within the building that were mostly made up of glass. These would be the stairwells and the middle area where people could gather.
