Andrea Palladio was born on November 30, 1508 in Padua, Venice. He studied mathematics, music and philosophy. From 1541, he made trips to Rome to study ancient ruins. His first palace design was the influenced by the Roman forum. Palladio villas re-created the Roman model based on ancient descriptions. His Four Books of Architecture was extremely influential. Palladio died in 1580.

Project 02: DMZ Duplex
South Korea Duplex
The main objective for when I built these floor plans was to have the duplex fit the criteria for each culture and begin from there. In the floor plans below I had this more modern look since its South Korea. I tried to implement more sunlight and a more simplistic look.

In my North Korea duplex I tried to incorporate the same idea since both of these cultures had to come together. I also wanted to include in the house more privacy in the first floor.
