Project 01: Therapy Clinic
As a group, we designed a refugee camp to be built in Syria. We each selected one topic to research more deeply, and i chose to research and design the therapy clinic.

I started by doing research on therapy, and i realized that there are two kinds of therapy; physical therapy, and mental therapy. I started by trying to design something that would fit the needs of both physical and mental therapy patients, so I made two separate spaces.

The entire clinic site is divided in half, where the individual metal therapy rooms and spread across the left side. The right side of the camp contains all of the physical therapy qualities and the group therapy rooms. The single therapy rooms are separate to ensure a feeling of safety and security.

Project 02: Job Center
Our second project was a continuation of the first; instead of designing a camp for fleeing citizens, we were tasked to rebuild Raqqa, Syria for returning citizens.

For my individual project, i felt that the most important think to think about is that these people are coming back with absolutely nothing, and the last thing they are going to want to worry about is not being about to get a job. Many returning citizens will have a very narrow variety of skills, so I decided to design a job center.
