Project 01: Park Wall Structure
For our first project of the semester, we had to design a refuge space for a Texas state park. We were allowed to choose any state park, and create any type of building appropriate for the park and its activities.
I chose to create my building in Galveston Island State Park, and to have it function as a pavilion, bird watching deck, and supply shop.

Project 02: Poche House
For the second half of the semester, we were given two choices. I choose to work on the Poche, aka Cliff house. In this project we had to design a house that did not rise eight feet above ground, with a 300x30 ft site restriction. Originally, I believed I had a width of 50 feet to work with, so when I realized my mistake, I had to greatly redesign my house. I ended up using the greenhouse as a central atrium that allowed natural light to flow through every floor.
