Lindsey Gutierrez: Architecture Design 1
I began this project by researching about Day Laborers. When I had enough information I created a poster with negative and positive information. I also added images of the Day Labor centers and workers. After I was done with the poster I drew out a word map. I pick out 3 main words that stood out to me the most of the world map. I then build 3 diffrent plane models and chosed one of them for my final pavilion project.

Drawings and Models:
Its now time to move on to the next step which is to start building 3 diffrent plane studies.I named them construction, communication, and worker. I decided to name one of them construction because a piece of cardbord looked like a wall a worker was working on and the other piece was the worker facing the wall. I named the next one communication because whenever I layed it out it somewhat looked like a small office/room space and I thought workers could talk about their ideas there. The last plane I named it worker because one piece of cardboard looked like a worker and the other two pieces of cardboard looked like two diffrent tools the worker could be holding. At the end I ended up choosing the plane construction because I just liked the visualization better in general and made the most understandment in the format of Day Labor. I consider the plane construction fits best in Day Labor because not only the name suited it the best but also the envision I created for it.
Plane Oblique Drawing
The drawing above is about my final model. As you may know the plane I choose was ''construction'' and its also colored in pink. The outside was meant to be a constation stand and there is also a bench,so workers can sit and wait their turn to enter.
