PROJECT I

Overview: Over the course of 9weeks I was tasked to build a birdhouse for a randomly selected bird. The bird that i was given to build a house for was the white breasted nuthatch, a small bird that lives south of the U.S. Based on the birds characteristics and preferences, I chose a cylinder design with a wavy look, making the house blend in but at the same time stand out in the environment.

PROJECT II

Overview: For our next project, I was given the task to create a residence for a college dean on the Old Alton Bridge. My client for this project was the culinary expert and world-renowned chef, Gordon Ramsay.

I spent the previous nine weeks sketching and designing this Parisian inspired house, the reason behind the Parisian style stemmed from Gordon Ramsey's Journey to becoming a culinary expert. At the age of 23 Gordon Ramsey studied in France, learning from the best chefs how to cook to the highest level.
