Craeft by Marley Smith
This semester's assignments were based on craeft. The type of craft that we focused on were: woodworking, glass, metalworking, and ceramics.
Project 1: Bird House
For this project, we were assigned a bird to make a residence for. My client was an Eastern Screech Owl, and our designs needed to reflect their needs and desires in a home. My design evolved from combining my first two ideas to create the final product.

Project 2: Dean's Residence
For our last project we were prompted to create a client and their needs and preferences for a living space. My dean will live on Old Alton Bridge and works at the college nearby. My client also teaches a course on glass and is fascinated with the art of it. I would say my design has changed from my previous ideas of what I thought I would do. I feel that I made positive changes in order to fit my client's needs.
