Birdhouse Project
The goal of this project was to create temporary housing for a client, which was a bird. the bird i was given was the American Woodcock.
Client Profile- This is a poster I made to showcase different things about my bird that I had to keep in mind.
Birdhouse Partis- These were different ideas I had for my model. My second sketch is just an adaptation of the first, but with a platform that the bird can use.
Birdhouse Model- This wasn't my final model, but it was the most complete. In my final model, there was going to be a platform above the center of the model. I chose this design because my client usually camouflages into twigs and leaves, so I didn't want my nest to take away it's only defense against predators.
Dean's Residence Project
The goal of this project was to create a Dean's residence on top of a bridge that would serve as an entrance to a Craft College. We got to pick a theme, I chose culinary arts, and a client, I chose Thad Castle.
Bridge House Sketches- These were different ideas I had about how I was going to make a house on a bridge.
Bridge House Floor Plans- These floor plans were for my final model. I chose to add rooms for the gym and partying because my client is a former football player and loves partying.
Bridge House Elevations- These were the elevations of my final model. I chose this design because I thought it looked like a pizza oven.
Bridge House Site Plan- This site plan shows exactly where the house would be. I chose this location because it preserves most of the bridge.
Bridge House Model- This is a model I built of my house at 1/8"=1' scale.
Bridge House Poster- This poster shows all of the elements of my bridge house, from the client, to the floor plans and elevations.
