Project 01: Mies Van Der Rohe, Farnsworth House

Timeline
Born:    March 27, 1886 in Aachen, Germany.
1905:    when he 19 years old he moved to Berlin.
1907:    Mies designed the Riehl House.
1917:    Mies designed the Urbig House, although his first design was rejected. 
1921:     it was never built but, Mies designed the Friedrichstrasse Office for the Friedrichstrasse competition. It was made of glass and steel, but Mies didn't follow the rules.
1929:    he designed the Barcelona Chair, made of steel and leather.
1932:    The Lemke House, this was the last house Mies built in Germany.
1947:   Mies the Perlstein Hall was built.
1951:   Mies designed this house for a friend as her get away house. The house looks simple but, he went through 167 drawings before he came to his final design.
Death:  August 17, 1969 in Chicago, IL.
