A Pottery Inspired Backyard Cottage
This a backyard cottage project with inspiration of the craft and material of pottery
The idea of the shapes of this building came from the beginning stages of pottery, molding.
It was constructed with thought of helping the wildlife and making it easier for someone who is injured.

The craft pottery was put into the building in a simple way, the material and form. Since pottery is very commonly used as a house material it works perfectly in adding the craft yet not making it tacky.

Perfectly basic. Workers of any job hate having things set up for them with their work. With this in mind space was the main objective

The second floor is a compacted thought out mess. Everything was put where it is to maximize spacing and with what's easier in mind.

The cottage fits like a glove on the site. It is a two story building but it would not be a concern for neighbors

Pottery inspired house
Like project 1 this house is also inspired by pottery. Adobe style went perfectly with the idea so it was chosen.
The boxy shape is negated by the old time look and material so it works.
Another reason this style was chosen was because the material and shape naturally creates sustainable aspects.
