Backyard Cottage, a movement that is be getting recognize in Lewisville and around the United States. Now, I shared with the world the process of mine, giving to everyone a idea and story of how Architect as me, are able to get this results.
My backyard Cottage has a process with too much creativity, showing how Fabric Artists can include abstract shapes, texture and colors in all of their work, getting a final design with forms that make a reference of Fabric and the texture of it.

Craft Investigation
The first step of my project was learned about, what actually Craft mean, because mostly of teenager can relate the word Craft with things like the video game Minecraft. When we pass to the actual theory of the word Craft, during the years, it have been getting a lot of meaning but, the real one and most alike to what those people does is; "Craft is create a tool to help people or create some other new physicals things".

Concept Design
Concept Design was the second step of my project, I tried to figure out, what's my client needed and how could I represent this in my ADU. Shapes of fabric was the first theme that I can give to my cottage and I wanted a doors design unique.
Concept 1 - This concept find the way to represent what a Fabric Artist is, but it does not think out the box being this the first waste idea.
Concept 2 - This concept got close to what I wanted but I thought, It needed more creativity. Doors and roof started to show the meaning of what I want to transmit but the idea needed more work in the spaces.
Concept 3 - This concept was the final that helped me to found every characteristic that I wanted to show in my final model, each shapes, doors and windows fixed perfectly in the idea of how a backyard cottage of a Fabric Artist looks like for me.

Schematic Design
The final design comes from this idea, I wanted think out of the box and represent all that creativity that Fabric Artist has, making a reference in each side of my cottage, giving to it a modern style leaving apart the conventional style of house.
Final Design
My final Design, a place where easily can live any Fabric Artist. This final project has many characteristic to mark as; it does not have doors, because this would be a home for only one person. having a privacy space, the whole right wall has a design that make a reference of a flag, with a inclination of 60 degrees being this a different design, the dinning room is exclusive for guests, and for me the main part of my cottage is one of the front walls that make a reference of threads, started from the floor and getting onto the roof becoming in a compact piece.
